Beliefs and Practices
Realistically it’s impossible to list or cover every doctrine, instruction, reproof in a single sitting. It is also true that where you have two or three together you have two or more opinions or beliefs. Even married couples don’t always agree on their Scriptural understanding. So, where does that leave us? What are the pillars of faith we CAN agree on?
Beliefs
God the Father, Yah or Yahweh, our Creator
John 17: 25-26
Yahshua says: ”Righteous Father, the world has not known you, but I have known you, and these people have known that you sent me. I made your name known to them, and I will continue to make it known; so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I myself may be united with them.”
Psalm 68:5, Psalm 22:23, John 17:11-12
God the Son, Jesus, Yahshua, our Salvation
Matthew 3:16-17
As soon as Yahshua had been immersed, he came up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, he saw the Spirit of God coming down upon him like a dove, and a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; I am well pleased with him.”
Luke 9:34-35, John 3:16-17
The Holy Spirit of Yahweh or Ruach Ha Kodesh Yahweh, our Helper and Guide
Isaiah 11:2
The Spirit of Yahweh shall rest upon Him — the Spirits of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirits of Counsel and Might, the Spirit of Knowledge and the Spirit of the Fear of Yaweh
John 14:26, 2 Timothy 1:14, Acts 5:32
The Greatest Commandment: Love
Mark 12:29-31
Yahshua answered, “The most important is, ‘Shema Israel, Yahweh elohenu Yahweh echad [Hear, O Isra’el, Yahweh our God, Yahweh is one], and you are to love Yahweh with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You are to love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other mitzvah greater than these.”
Matthew 22:36-40
How do we love Yahweh?
John 14:15
If you love me, you will keep my commands;
Proverbs 3:1, Proverbs 4:4, John 15:10, Matthew 5:18-19
How do we love our Neighbors?
Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider one another for the stirring up of love and of good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves, just as is the custom for some, but exhorting one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Galatians 6:2
Are we Jewish?
Ephesians 2:19
So then, you are no longer strangers and aliens, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord.
Ephesians 2:14-17
Is Grace, Mercy and Faith all there is?
No. Grace and mercy are just the beginning of our journey with our Creator, Yahweh. His Word, the Scriptures, gives us great details on how we are to live a life that pleases Him.
Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 16:27, Acts 10:35, Jeremiah 29:11-13
How do we learn about Yahweh?
We learn through the Scriptures and Scriptures alone. In Latin, it is called Sola Scriptura. Now, what is Scripture? At the bare minimum, it is the 66 book canon of the Protestant bible.
Psalm 19:7-10
The Torah of Yahweh is perfect, converting the soul. The Testimony of Yahweh is sure, making the simple wise. The precepts of Yahweh are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandments of Yahweh are clear, giving light to the eyes. The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever, The judgments of Yahweh are true, they are righteous altogether. They are more precious than gold, even much fine gold, and sweeter than honey and drops from the honeycomb.
2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 61:8,

More On TCF's Doctrinal Beliefs
We recognize the importance of being transparent and informative. We have taken time to go through an extensive layout of all our doctrinal beliefs and practices to which we adhere. We also recognize that we may not have covered everything and from time to time we will need to update and edit to bring full disclosure to everyone. Thank you!
