Giving
We are not a church. We don't operate on any non-profit profile. We are not a tax deductible group. We are simply a community of Torah minded people that want to come together too fellowship and support each other. We all want to have a sense of community that brings fellowship, praise, teaching and families events together. This takes organization and leadership to help the families to come together. Here are some areas that financial help is needed within the fellowship.
Meeting Place. It is important that we bless those who have supported us by letting us come together as a fellowship. Beaver Lake Community Church has graciously opened it's doors to us to use their facility so we can accomidate more families. It takes money to heat and cool. To have lights on and gas for cooking equipment. We need to give graciously above that which might be expected. We must bless those who bless us.
Office Materials. We want to provide the family with handouts each week that corresponds to the teaching of the day. We also print our own materials for the children. Things like: coloring pages, fun pages with mazes, word search and other mind activities, along with bible verses to copy for memorization. Ink for printer, paper along with equipment that may need to be purchased.
Media. We offer a website that gives information for those who are interested to know more about us. It also gives update information for the Torah Community so they know what is available to them. All the things that are involved from a web host, domain name, apps that are not always free. Means to be able to say connected through media is an important part of any organization today.
Helping Others. We are called to not only support one another we are called to help our neighbors within our community.
We do not have any team members who are on a payroll. Each person volunteers to serve and bless others. We may from time to time hire outside help for services involving professional services such as website design or pay for visiting speakers or performers.
Giving comes from the local Torah minded people. We offer a box in the back of the fellowship where they can give monies to help with the operations of TCF. It is recommended that you use an envelope and write what you want your donation to go to. For example if you want it to go to the facility to help with building expenses, just mark that down and that monies will got toward that purpose. If you want to make sure that we have printed materials for adults and children you can ear mark it for that. We will have reports available for anyone who wants to know what funds come in and what it goes to.
